What to bring to an Honest Yoga class

01. Water

Hydration is everything - bring a water bottle to sip whenever needed throughout your class. We have refill options available in studio.

02. Comfy Clothes

No trendy outfits needed - just clothes that make you feel good in your skin, and you can easily move (and sweat) in.

03. Yoga Mat

Any yoga mat will do - we provide all other props that make stretching and poses more comfortable.

04. Good Energy

All other props and tools we will provide - just come to class ready to zen out, stretch, laugh, breathe, and move!

  • Group Sound Journey

    Join Annie Fitzgerald for a Group Sound Healing Meditation. Annie’s 20+ years of experience with sound as a professional musician, singer-songwriter & sonic energy medicine practitioner brings a unique and powerful style to her reiki-infused, channeled experiences. You're invited to surrender to the sound of sacred voice, crystal bowls, gongs, drums, shakers, chimes and more to clear energetic blockages and enter into a deeply restorative & meditative state. The benefits of Sound Healing include: better sleep, a reset of the physical and energetic systems, reduced effects of anxiety & depression, a pathway to spiritual connection, plus all of the benefits of meditation such as lowering of blood pressure and increasing oxytocin.

    Bringing a cozy blanket, pillow & yoga mat is recommended (anything that will make you comfortable). An eye pillow or eye mask can be beneficial to help you sink deeper into meditation.

  • Join us for this mini retreat hosted at Honest Yoga by owner Nicole Byars and Nicole Ferguson, owner of Modern Holistic. The retreat kicks off on Friday, February 21, at 2:00 PM and wraps up on Saturday, February 22 (2/22), at 6:00 PM.

Designed for yogis, teachers, and curious seekers, this session will guide you through the foundational understanding of the chakras—their meanings, locations, and how they influence your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

    The workshop begins with an interactive discussion, exploring each chakra's unique qualities, colors, and associations. Learn practical ways to incorporate chakra awareness into your yoga practice and teaching, fostering greater alignment and balance.

    Following the discussion, we'll flow into a chakra-balancing yoga class, integrating poses and breathwork that align with each energy center. We'll close with a guided chakra meditation to harmonize and rejuvenate your inner energy system.

    Whether you're new to the chakras or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop offers a holistic and inspiring experience to connect with your energy and expand your practice.

    By completing this workshop you will receive 3 hours of continuing ed credits through yoga alliance.

    Honest Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training program is a 5-month journey designed for those craving deeper understanding, personal growth, and new opportunities—whether that’s in your yoga practice, your career, or simply how you show up in the world.

    This program isn’t about achieving the “perfect pose.” It’s about uncovering your unique voice, expanding your knowledge, and building confidence in ways that ripple far beyond the mat.

    Our training is comprehensive and accessible, with 13 in-person sessions, two detailed manuals, thoughtfully curated readings, and take-home work to help you integrate what you learn. Along the way, you’ll be supported by a community of like-minded individuals and experienced teachers who genuinely care about your growth.

    As an approved school through Yoga Alliance and the Minnesota State Private Education Department, you can rest assured this program meets the highest standards. Plus, you’ll have the added benefit of earning continuing education credits through the Minnesota Board of Psychology.

    Saturday: 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

    Every session is recorded so if you need to miss one weekend, we can accommodate missed time. You can also zoom in with our savvy technology if need be.
